Stanislas Levillain
Stanislas Levillain (born in 1774 with the Havre - died in 1801 with broad of Timor) was a Naturaliste and zoologist French which took part, installed on board the Géographe , with the voyage towards the South Seas which Nicolas Baudin until the Pacifique as from October 1800 led. It contracted the Dysenterie during the first stopover with the Timor and died at sea off Timor on December 23rd, 1801.
Its name was given to the Cape Levillain, a course of the Baie Shark.
