Vágar
February 7th, is emitted a block-layer of ten stamps of 5,50 illustrated DKK of paintings of landscapes of the island of Vágar.Painted by Eli Smith, these stamps of 4 × 2,6 cm are printed in offset by the French printer Cartor Security Printing.
Daily life of the Vikings
February 7th, is emitted an illustrated block-layer composed of three stamps of 7,50 DKK presenting the daily life of the Viking S ( Gerandisdagurin í víkingaøold ). The stamps present the traditional agricultural activities: cereal culture with the harvest and the breeding of Sheep S for the Wool, of horses and Bovidae of which a cow being made milk. The stamp on the right watch of the houses Vikings. The margin on the right consists of a maritime landscape.The block is drawn and engraved by Martin Mörck for an impression in offset and Taille-douce. Each stamp measures 39,52 × 28,84 Misters the Danish post office ensured the impression of the block.

Europa: gastronomy
April 18th, within the framework of the emission Europa, are emitted two stamps of 7,50 and 10 DKK on the annual topic of the Faroese Gastronomie. Each stamp presents examples of dishes and traditional ingredients of the kitchen of the archipelago:- for the fishery products: pellets, ræst (fish with half dried), heads of Cod and fish eggs,
- for the livestock products: in the lamb, cook the head, the dried thigh, the testicles, the kidneys cooked out of skewer, and in a meat soup to dried half and vegetables,
- the birds also appear: Puffin and eggs of guillemot,
- in dessert, compote of Rhubarb and grape paste,
- the whole accompanied by brandy.
The stamps of 7,2 × 2,595 cm are designed by Edward Fuglø. They are printed in offset in sheet of ten specimens by Cartor Security Printing, in France.
Faroese hare
April 18th, two stamps of 5,50 DKK on Faroese hare are emitted ( will hara into Faroese, Lepus timidus ). Are represented a brown specimen on green bottom and another white on light blue bottom.The stamps of 3 × 3,4 cm are drawn by Edward Fuglø. Printed in offset by Cartor Security Printing, they are conditioned in sheet of twenty stamps.
These two stamps are also emitted in a notebook of ten stamps, five of each type.

WWF: Hydrobatinae /hydrobatin be
June 6th, four stamps are emitted carrying the logotype of WWF, bottom world for wild protection of nature. The figurines represent four species of hydrobatiné], of small [[bird of sea|birds of sea]]. The two species presented are: [[océanite culblanc]] ('' [[Oceanodroma leucorhoa]] '', on the 8,50 DKK and the 12 DKK) and it [[océanite storm]] ('' [[Hydrobates pelagicus]] '', on the 9 DKK and the 20 DKK). The two species are represented on the two low values approximately plane and in flight on a bottom of sun and ocean, and on the ground which they join primarily to reproduce on the two stronger values. The stamps of 3,8 × 3,05 cm are drawn by [[Astrid Andreasen]]. They are printed in sheet of twenty specimens by the printer [[Cartor Security Printing]]. == Juillet == == Août == == Septembre == === a friendly occupation === September 19th, two are emitted [[commemorative stamp|stamps commemorative]] of 5,50 DKK and 9 DKK for the 60 {{E}} birthday of the end of the occupation of the archipelago by the British army. It took place during [[Second world war]] (April 1940 in May 1945), whereas it [[Denmark]] was conquered by [[Nazi Germany]]. This occupation is described as “friendly” or “benevolent” according to the translations of the Faroese title “'' Ein vinalig herseting ''”. The two stamps are photographs of time: British soldiers operates some in the islands on the 5,50 DKK and other soldiers taking the installation with Faroese children on the 9 DKK. The photographs result from the collections from [[Imperial War Museum]]: n°H 10560 for the 5,50 DKK and n°D 587 for the 9 DKK. The stamps of 4 × 3 cm are printed by [[Österreichische Staatsdruckerei]], in [[Austria]]. === Jógvan Waagstein === [[Image: Faroe stamp 527 Velbastadur.jpg|thumb|right|[[Velbastaður]].]] September 19th, is emitted a block of nine artistic stamps of 7,50 reproducing DKK of works of one of the first painters recognized of the Faroe one, [[Jógvan Waagstein]] (1879-1949). The tables are landscapes of the archipelago. Illustrated paintings of Jógvan Waagstein, the block is printed by [[Österreichische Staatsdruckerei]], in [[Austria]]. The stamps have a format of 4 × 3,25 cm. == Octobre == == Novembre == === Stamps of Christmas === November 7th, two [[Stamps and labels of Christmas are emitted|stamps of Christmas]] of 5,50 DKK and 7,50 DKK. The 5,50 DKK, to dominant blue, is devoted to the song of [[Christmas]] ('' Jólavísan ''): one [[Virgin with the child]] on a bottom of [[dove]] S, bird associated with [[Holy Spirit]] and dominating the shades with [[Magi]] with horse, following a star located above largest the doves the stamp. The Virgin is inspired to the draftsman by a statue originating in [[Kirkjubøur]]; this important part of the inheritance of Faroe is preserved at [[Faroese national museum]] with [[Tórshavn]].
