This article counts the stamps of Italy emitted in 2006 by the Poste italiane.
General information
The emissions are marked “Italia” and a facial value made out in Euro S (€).The stamps are printed by the Istituto Poligrafico E Zecca dello Stato, which is recalled by mention “IPZS SpA Roma” under the illustration. The Dentelure is of 13 × 13 ¼ (many teeth for 2 cm).

January
Dedicated the 18 year old to young people
January 1st, two stamps of 0,45 € dedicated to the young people are emitted who will celebrate to them 18th birthday in 2006: Decicato ale diciottenni for the young women, Dedicato have Diciottenni for the young men. On each stamp a postage stamp is drawn carrying a Sablier in which runs out of the figures. Two fell in bottom and form the number 18. The prime coat takes again the traditional colors devoted to the kind: blue for the men, pink for the women.These stamps are sold only to the young people who make of it the reservation near their post office in the two months following their birthday. In June, 83 stamps pink and 166 blue were sold to 249 people. The speculation on the philatelic market Italian makes then reach the 200 € for one of these stamps.
The stamps of 2,6 × 3,6 cm are drawn by Maria Carmela Perrini. Printed in Photogravure, they are conditioned in sheet of fifty specimens.

Panini
January 30th, is emitted a stamp of 2,80 € on Panini, made famous for the edition of stickers of Football eurs. The stamp takes again the title of the collecting book in Italy “ Calciatori ”, the Logotype of the company and a footballer in action of shooting.The stamp of 3,6 × 2,6 is drawn by Pierfrancesco LED Re and Fabrizio Melegari for an impression in Héliogravure in sheet of fifty.
The seal first day of January 30th, taking again the player of the stamp, is available to Modena, birthplace of the editor, and Rome.
Pulling envisaged is of 3,5 million specimens.
In his album devoted to the players of the Football world cup of 2006, the editor reproduced the stamp on the image n°0.
February
50e birthday of Quattroruote
February 1st, is emitted a stamp of 0,62 € for the fiftieth anniversary of the automobile review Quattroruote (literally “four wheels”) whose first cover east constitutes the illustration of the stamp.The cover of the magazine created by Gianni Mazzocchi is reproduced on a stamp of 2,6 × 3,6 cm printed in Héliogravure in sheet of fifty.
The seal first day of February 1st is available to Rozzano, in the Province of Milan, where a museum of the car is.

Schools and universities
February 6th, four stamps of 0,45 € on schools and Italian Université S are emitted. The University of Urbin, known as “Carlo Bo” ( Università degli studi di Urbino “Carlo Bo” ), celebrates the 500 years of its foundation. The currency “ Vetera and nova ” is written on the stamp devoted to the Liceo classico statale “Ernesto Cairoli” of Varèse. This last establishment and the Liceo scientifico statale “Alessandro Tassoni” of Modena is represented through their contemporary buildings. Lastly, the frontage of Luigi Vanvitelli of the 18th century illustrates the stamp on the Liceo classico statale “Agostino Nifo” of Sessa Aurunca.The stamps of 4,4 × 3,6 cm are signed Matteo Chilese (Varese), Gaetano Ieluzzo (Modena and Sessa Aurunca) and Francesco Ramberti (university of Urbin). They are printed in Héliogravure in sheet of twenty-five.
The four seals first day of February 6th take again the principal reason for the stamps and are respectively available in the city concerned.

Winter Olympics 2006
February 8th, at the time of the Winter Olympics of 2006 with Turin from February 10th to 26th 2006, nine stamps are emitted and a block gathering them, for a total facial value of 7,78 € the nine stamps or the block. Each sport or element of the Olympic ideal is represented by a drawing white or blue very clearly beside the logotype of the plays 2006 on a bottom of bands using different let us tons of blue. Alphabetically sports, were selected: the Biathlon (0,23 €), the Bobsleigh (0,85 €), the Curling (0,70 €), the Hockey (0,65 €), the Toboggan (1,30 €), the Figure skating (0,45 €) and the Alpine skiing (0,90 €). The 1 € evokes the course of the Olympic flame and the 1,70 € the three Médaille S.The stamps of 3,6 × 2 cm are drawn by Leonardo Coen Cagli and are printed in Héliogravure in sheet of fifty and a block of ten.
The seal first represents the logotype of the demonstration which prolongs an alpine landscape and is available on February 8th to Turin.
Initial pulling is of 3,5 million for the 0,45 € “Figure skating” and 2 million for the other stamps of sheet, and 550.000 block-layers.
Philatelic exposure to the Montecitorio palate: the kingdom of Italy
February 9th, are emitted a Timbre on stamp of 0,60 € reproducing four postage stamps of the time of the Royaume of Italy ( It Regno d' Italia ), subject of an exposure to the Palais Montecitorio, from February 9th to 16th 2006. In top in the center, the stamp not notched of 15 centimes blue carries the effigy of Victor-Emmanuel II and goes back to 1863. On the left, Hembert I is visible {{er}} on a stamp of five centimes green of 1879. On the right, Victor-Emmanuel III on a stamp of 10 centimes carmine of 1901. In bottom, a stamp large size commemorates in 1930 the marriage of the crown prince Humbert with the princess Marie-Jose to Belgium. The four kings d' Italie all are thus represented.The stamp of 4,4 × 3,6 cm is designed by Anna Maria Maresca. The seal first day of Rome of February 9th takes again the effigies of the kings, prince and princess, without the circumference of the stamps and in the chronological order.

Società Dalmata di Storia Patria
February 10th, is emitted a stamp of 0,45 € for the 80e birthday of the Società Dalmata di Storia Patria, association founded with Zadar ( Zara in Italian), on March 26th, 1926. It is devoted to the promotion and the safeguarding of the Italian culture in Dalmatie, become Croatian and Yugoslav by the treated of Rapallo. The stamp represents the armorial bearings of the Company: three crowned heads of lion. February 25th, is emitted a artistic Timbre of 0,45 € at the time of the 500 years of died of the painter Andrea Mantegna. It reproduces a detail of freque entitled the the Court of the marquis Louis III of Mantoue ( Camera degli sposi for the place of realization, the Chambre of the Husbands to the ducal palate of Mantoue), realized in 1474.The stamp of 3,6 × 4,4 cm is printed in Héliogravure in sheet of twenty-five specimens.

28e international Congress of the occupational medicine
March 8th, is emitted a stamp with surtax of 0,60 € + 0,30 € at the time of the 28e international Congrès of the Occupational medicine ( 28° Congresso Internazionale di Medicina del Lavoro ; or “of health at the work” according to certain translations in French), organized with Milan. The light blue bottom and white of the stamp represent the private clinic of work Luigi Devoto of Milan, and over the logotypes of the congress and the center of the Milanese congresses which accommodates the demonstration. The surtax of 30 hundreds is devoted to the fight against the Breast cancer ( pro lotta have tumori LED seno ) symbolized by a pink ribbon. Made in Italy
March 11th, in the series of everyday usage Made in Italy , is emitted two stamps on typical products of Italy. The 0,60 € is devoted to the manufacturer of artisanal Ice cream ( gelato artigianale ); an old engraving shows an itinerant salesman with his carriole and approximately plan a horn of three balls of ice. 2,80 € on the Marble of Carrara marble ( marmo di Carrara ); on bottom of a career of extraction, is represented a Statue Michel-Angel, Esclave rebels .“Gelato artigianale” is drawn by Rita Fantini and “Marmo di Carrara” by Tiziana Trinca. Centenary of the tunnel of the Simplon
March 18th, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,62 € at the time of the centenary of the Tunnel of the Simplon ( centenario traforo del Sempione ). Inaugurated on May 19th, 1906, this railway tunnel in the the Alps connects the Valais in Suisse to the Piedmont in Italy, as the two flags at the end of the tunnel point out it, drawn on the stamp.The stamp of 2,6 × 3,6 cm is drawn by Tiziana Trinca for an impression in Héliogravure in sheet of fifty units.

International day of the mountain
March 30th, is emitted a stamp of 0,60 € to announce the organization, on December 11th, international Journée of the mountain ( Giornata Internazionale della Montagna ) by the United Nations for the food and agriculture (FAO). Maria Santissima Incaldana - Sanctuary of Mondragone
April 1st, in the series of everyday usage the artistic and cultural inheritance Italian , is emitted a stamp of 0,45 € reproducing a Byzantine icon visible in the basilica of a sanctuary of Campanie, the venerabile santuario di santa Maria Incaldana , on the commune of Mondragone. The icon is a Vierge with the child representative Marie nursing Jesus; both carry a crown and a haloes.The stamp of 4 × 4,8 cm is printed in Héliogravure in sheet of twenty-five.

First vote of the Italian citizens from abroad
April 3rd, is emitted a stamp of 0,62 € at the time of the first participation of the Italian citizens from abroad in the legislative elections national ( Primo voto dei cittadini italiani residenti all' estero ). A Planisphère according to the Projection of Mollweide is divided into ballot papers which plunges in a ballot box carrying the weapons of the Italian Republic.The stamp of 2,6 × 3,6 cm is drawn by Luca Vangelli. Philatelic exposure: “two Republics”
April 5th, within the framework of a joint emission with San Marino, is emitted a stamp and a layer of 0,62 € representing the pediment of the Palais Montecitorio, seat of the Italian House of Commons, and the tower of the Palazzo Publico, seat of the government of San Marino. The summit part of each monument is registered in a Dentelure recalling that the emission takes place at the time of the philatelic exposure the Two Republics ( Mostra filatelica “ It due Repubbliche ”). Devoted to the history of the postal relations between the two countries, this demonstration takes place from April 8th to May 7th, 2006 in San Marino.The block emitted simultaneously proposes the Italian stamp himself-holding with the stamp of San Marino. Gentile da Fabriano, Madonna LED' Umiltà
April 20th, is emitted a stamp of 2,80 € reproducing the Madonna LED' Umiltà of the painter Gentile di Niccolò di Giovanni Massi, known under the name of Gentile da Fabriano. It is about a Vierge to the child realized with the beginning of the year 1420.The work preserved at the Museo Nazionale di San Matteo of Pisa is reproduced on a stamp of 3,6 × 4,4 cm printed in Héliogravure in sheet of twenty-five units.

April 22nd, in the series of everyday usage the Institutions ( Li Istituzioni ), is emitted a stamp of 0,45 € for the fiftieth anniversary of the beginning of the activities of the Constitutional court ( 50 anni di attività beyond Corte costituzionale ). Enrico Mattei 1906-1962

Areas of Italy
April 29th, in the series of everyday usage Areas of Italy, is emitted four stamps of 0,45 € on the areas of the Latium ( Lazio ), of the Piedmont ( Piemonte ), of the Pouilles ( Puglia ) and of Toscane ( Toscana ). On each one, geographical profile côtoie of the elements pointing out the area. For Latium, was selected the green landscape of the Etruscan Nécropole of Cerveteri and a Etruscan Sarcophage called “of the Husband” preserved at the Etruscan National museum of the villa Giulia, with Rome. On the stamp “Piedmont”, the equestrian Statue of Emmanuel-Philibert, prince de Piémont at the 16th century, was set up on the Place San Carlo of Turin and is the work of the sculptor Carlo Marocchetti; on the line of the figurine, is represented the Château of Racconigi, residence of the princes de Carignan. The profile of Pouilles cuts the stamp in two triangles: in bottom on the left, the basilica San Nicola of Bari and in top on the right, the island Tremiti in Adriatic Sea. For the Tuscan , the left edge carries the profile of the face of the David of Michel-Angel and opens the stamp on a rural landscape Tuscan.The stamps of 3,6 × 2,6 cm are drawn by Tiziana Trinca for an impression in Héliogravure in sheet of fifty units.

May 6th, is emitted a stamp of 0,60 € for the centenary, day for day, of the first edition of the sicilian automobile race , the Targa Florio which disappeared in 1977. Europa: the integration seen by the young people
May 8th, within the framework of the emission Europa, are emitted two stamps of 0,45 € and 0,62 € on the common topic of the integration seen by the young people ( the integrazione Vista dai giovani ). The drawing of the 0,45 € represents five young people of different origins sitted on a wall. The 0,62 € watch same characters of back, being held by the arms.The two stamps of 3,6 × 2,6 cm are drawn by Anna Maria Maresca. Printed in Photogravure, they are conditioned in sheet of fifty.

Parliament of the International counsel of the military sport
May 9th, is emitted a stamp of 0,45 € at the time of the 61e general meeting of the International counsel of the military sport ( Assemblea Generale del Consiglio Internazionale dello Sport Militare ) organized with Rome from May 15th to 22nd 2006. 60 years of the constituent Assembly 1946-2006
June 1st, is emitted a stamp of 0,60 € for the commemoration of the election, on June 2nd, 1946, of the constituent Assembly which wrote the Constitution Italian République. The same day, the voters and électrices (the Italians voted for the first time) chose the republic like their new political regime. The illustration is inspired by a photograph of a session of the constituent Assembly on whom three arcs of circle were imposed on the colors of the Italian flag.The stamp of 3,6 × 2,6 cm is drawn by Niccolò Desii for an impression in Héliogravure in sheet of fifty.

Vote for all
June 1st, is emitted a stamp of 0,60 € for the 60e birthday of the Vote for all in Italy, described on the stamp as the “Right to vote for all” ( diritto di voto ale gives ). The first election where this vote was applied took place on June 2nd, 1946 for the Référendum of the choice of the political regime and the election of a constituent Assembly. To recall that the women were principal the recipients of the extension of the right to vote, it is selected a photograph in black and white on pink bottom of Leonilde “Nilde” Iotti, elected appointed this June 2nd and who was president of the House of Commons of 1979 to 1992.The stamp of 2,6 × 3,6 cm is printed in Héliogravure in sheet of fifty units.

June 13rd, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,60 € for the fiftieth anniversary of the experimental Polygon inter-arm Salto di Quirra ( Poligono Sperimentale Interforze Salto di Quirra ), located at Perdasdefogu in Sardinia. June 21st, are emitted two stamps of 0,60 € for the centenary of the Guardia di Finanza, police customs and financial Italian. One of the stamps is devoted to the Comando general , the chief of the institution, is represented by its current seat on the avenue of April 21st to Rome and a preceding seat avenue of September 20th in background. The other stamp presents the Légion Allievi ( Legione Allievi ) with the seat to Maddaloni and a soldier carrying the uniform of 1906.The two stamps are drawn by Alessandro Biffignandi and are printed in Héliogravure in sheet of cinqante. Fallen in Nassiriya
November 11th, is emitted a stamp of 0,60 € in remembering the killed Italian soldiers ( Caduti di Nassiriya ), on November 12th, 2003, in an attack with Nassiriya, in Iraq. It is one of the attacks which followed the combat of the war which caused the fall of Saddam Hussein. It had an important repercussion on the Italian public opinion. The stamp represents the Tombe of the Unknown soldier to the foot of the Vittoriano, surrounded by two flags in Bern. With the foot of the monument, flowers deposited by the citizens in memory of the soldiers killed in the attack.
