Flowers

January 2nd, is emitted three stamps of everyday usage of the series Fleurs. A Dahlia on the 0,35 €, a Narcisse on the 0,90 € and a iris on the 1,45 €. The square photographs are page layout surrounded by white.

The stamps of 2,15 × 3,013 cm are designed by Stefan Klein and Olaf Neumann. They are printed in offset by the Bundesdruckerei of Berlin. The 0,35 € Dahlie is conditioned in sheet of ten and caster of 200 and 2000 specimens. The 0,90 € Narzisse and 1,45 € Schwertlilie in sheet of ten and caster of 500 units.

Winter

January 2nd, in the series Posts ( Post ), is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € on the Hiver. Selected photography shows a oak isolated in a snow-covered clearing. The edges of sheet are white punctuated traces of animals having gone in snow.

Photography Chêne covered with snow in the Forêt of Reinhard ( Verschneite Eiche amndt Reinhardswald ) is signed Heinz Wohner. The stamp is put on page by Johannes Graf. Of format 4,6 × 2,732 cm, it are printed in offset in sheet of ten specimens by printing works Giesecke & Devrient of Leipzig.

1200 years of Market

January 2nd, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,45 € for the 1200e birthday of the foundation of the town of Halle, in Saxony-Anhalt ( 1200 Jahre Halle ). The illustration is a composition of five photographs of monuments of the city, saturated with a color, and on which one distinguishes into dark the letters from the name from the city. The monuments are the turns of the church of the Market (3rd and 5th bands), the frontage of the opera (4th band), as well as a statue (1st) and the frontage of another building (2nd). Under this composition, are visible the weapons of the city.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart 1756-1791

January 2nd, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,55 € for the 250e birthday of the birth of the type-setter Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The portrait of time was modified to give large surfaces of bright colors, on an orange bottom.

For environmental protection

January 2nd, in the series For environmental protection ( Für den Umweltschutz ), is emitted a Timbre of benevolence of 0,55 € more one surtax of 0,25 €. It is illustrated of a photograph of the Ground taken space, and centered on a basic system pressure. Under the image, the sentence “ Klimaschutz geht Ali year ” recalls that “environmental protection concerns us all. ”

650 years of the gold Bubble

January 2nd, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 1,45 € for the 650e birthday of the Bulle of gold, the charter of constitution of the Saint Germanic Roman Empire ( 650 Jahre Goldene Bulle ). On the right part of the illustration, the Sceau out of gold of Charles IV is reproduced which gave its name to the text. On the left, an extract of the first lines of the Latin text in : “ KAROLUS QUARTUS DIVINA FAVENTE CLEMENCIA ROMANORUM IMPERATOR SEMPER AUGUSTUS AND BOEMIAE REX ”, i.e. “Charles the fourth, by the favor of divine leniency emperor of the Romans, always Auguste, and king of Bohemia. ”

February

50 years of the Council of the Planks

February 9th, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,90 € for the fiftieth anniversary of the creation of the council of the Frises ( Frisenrat in German), on February 18th, 1956 with Leer. Its objective is the co-operation between the Frisons of septentrional Frise of the the Schleswig-Holstein, of Eastern Frise of Lower Saxony and Western Frise of the province of Plank Dutchwoman, in particular for the defense of the Friesian language and the culture. The stamp is a photograph of the the North Sea which bathes the Planks, on which are written to the translations of the name “the Council of the Planks” in each of the three varieties of clippings and in the colors of the flags of the three areas: Eastern Clippings in top ( Fraïske Raid ), septentrional Clippings in the medium ( Frasche Rädj ) and Western Clippings in bottom ( Fryske Laughs ).

850 years of the church Saint-Michel of Schwäbisch Hall

February 9th, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,55 € for the 850e birthday of the dedication, on February 10th, 1156, of the Saint-Michel church of Schwäbisch Hall ( 850 Jahre Michaelskirche Schwäbisch Hall ), city of the Land of Bade-Wurtemberg. The stamp is illustrated of a drawn panorama of the city around its church.

The stamp of 4,6 × 2,732 cm is drawn by Joachim Rieß. Printed in offset by printing works Giesecke & Devrient of Leipzig, it is conditioned in sheet of ten.

For the sport: football

February 9th, is emitted the annual emission of benevolence for the Sport ( Für den Sport ). It includes/understands four stamps to announce the football world cup organized in Germany from June 9th to July 9th, 2006. Each stamp is a composition of two photographs placed such ways that first to more surfaces be is entitled than the second posed at side. The right part of the stamp is preserved for the mentions on three lines: “ Für den Sport/FIFA Fussball-Weltmeisterschaft/Deutschland 2006^TM ”. The description of the stamps follows their composition from left to right:

the 0,45 € + 0,20 € Stadionatmosphäre illustrates the “atmosphere of a stage” with German flags on bottom of platforms of supporteurs, then lighting of stage;

February 9th, in the annual series of benevolence to the profit of the Sport, is emitted a fifth stamp of 0,55 € + 0,25 € to announce the organized Championnats of the world of horsemanship from August 20th to September 30th, 2006 with Aachen ( Pferdesport Weltmeisterschaften/Aachen 2006 ). It is composed like those devoted to football: photographs of a horse and its rider in full race, then detail of a fuzzier photograph on the leg of a rider.

1200 years of Ingolstadt

March 2nd, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,55 € for the 1200e birthday of the town of Ingolstadt, in Bavaria. February 6th, 806, its name appears for the first time in a document of the administration of Charlemagne. The stamp shows an old representation of the panorama of the city drawn over a historical chart where the river the Danube is emphasized. The emblem of the city (a panther spitting of the flames of Mouths).

Johannes Rau 1931-2006

March 2nd, is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € in homage to Johannes Rau, federal president of 1999 to the 2004, died on January 27th, 2006. Background of the stamp in a neutral color; only a house of the State is visible behind the portrait, on the line.

Karl Friedrich Schinkel 1781-1841

March 2nd, is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € for the 225e birthday of the birth of the Architecte and Prussian Urbaniste Karl Friedrich Schinkel. The stamp presents a captioned engraving of what became the Altes Museum: the “perspective of the new museum to be built with the Lustgarten” ( Perspective of the neuen Natural history musea amndt Lustgarten zu erbauen ), within the island of the Museums, with Berlin.

March 2nd, in the series With the service of the others ( Dienst amndt Nächsten ), is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € for the birthday of two institutions of assistance to the blind people . In 1806, was founded with Berlin, the Preußisch-Königlichen Blindenanstalt , institute royal-Prussian charged to accommodate the blind men and become the Blindenschule Berlin. October 15th, 1856, Olga of Russia, wife of the future king de Wurtemberg Charles, an institute for blind men with Stuttgart. She baptizes the place according to the first name of her father Nicolas I {{er}} tsar of Russia. 500 years of the Viadrina university of Frankfurt-on-the Oder

April 13rd, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,55 € for the 500 years of the university Viadrina, opened in 1506 with Frankfurt-on-the Oder ( 500 Jahre Universität Viadrina Frankfurt/Oder ). First open university in Brandebourg, its name means in Latin: “which is on the Oder”. The seal of the university is reproduced in Gaufrage on the white stamp. The university, near to the border with the Poland since 1945, became a European university.

Gerd Bucerius 1906-1995

May 4th, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,85 € for the centenary of the birth of Gerd Bucerius, politician member of the CDU and cofounder of the newspaper Die Zeit . The portrait shows only the glance and a temple of the character, as if photography were on the corner of the one of a newspaper, which one would see by transparency what is printed on the following page.

May 4th, in the series Site of the world cultural heritage of UNESCO, is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € on the Vallée of average Haut-Rhin, classified in June 2002 ( Weltkulturerbe DER UNESCO - Oberes Mittelrheintal ). The illustration is a painting: Sankt Goarshausen amndt Fuße of Loreley-Felsen put Burg Katzenelnbogen (Sankt Goarshausen with the foot of the rock of the Lorelei with the borough of Katzenelnbogen) which makes it possible to point out the bonds of the site with the current of the Romantisme.

Johann August Roebling 1806-1869

June 8th, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 1,45 € for the bicentenary of the birthday of John Augustus Roebling ( Johann August Röbling in German), famous German engineer for the construction of Suspended bridge. He was the chief engineer at the beginning of the construction of the Pont of Brooklyn with New York before a fatal accident. The illustration is extracted from a Postcard.

The castle of Burghausen

July 13rd, is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € on the Château of Burghausen, city of Bavaria, close to the border with the Austria. The castle is longest of Europe with 1043 meters. The stamp shows a drawn panorama of the castle.

100 years of the unified system of automobile number plate

July 13rd, is emitted a stamp of 0,45 € for the centenary of the system of automobile Plate number in Germany ( 100 Jahre einheitliche deutsche Kfz-Kennzeichen ). On the stamp, seven plates of different times are presented on a white zone.

Rembrandt 1606-1669

July 13rd, within the framework of a joint emission with the Netherlands, is emitted a stamp of 0,70 € for the 400e birthday of the birth of the Dutch painter Rembrandt. It is table Saskia van Uylenburgh of profile preserved at Kassel which is put in scene for a homage where are put in scene the black of the table and the white of the margins; the profile is shifted on the line of the stamp.

The square stamp of 3,5 cm east coast designed by the Netherlander Walter Nikkels according to the work of Rembrandt. The stamp is printed in offset by printing works Bagel Security-Print of Mönchengladbach.

Because of an error of the post office Dutchwoman, this stamp exists in one second version with phosphorus bars different from the impression carried out by Bagel. In a philatelic book, the drawing of the German stamp was to appear simply printed on a page beside that notched and gummed of the Netherlands. However, on the 45.000 specimens of pulling, all sold, the German stamp also is notched, gummed and phosphorated, which was not envisaged.

August

150 years of discovered of Néandertalien

August 10th, in the annual series Archeology in Germany, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 2,20 € for the 150e birthday of discovered Homme of Néandertal ( 150 Jahre Entdeckung of Neandertalers ). In August 1856 in the Valley of Neander, in the west of Germany, remainders of a species then unknown of the kind '' Homo '' are discovered. The photography of an upper part of a cranium néandertalien is printed on white zone, on the right on the stamp; a stringcourse on the left represents the landscape of the valley of Neander.

Black Forest

August 10th, in the series Images of Germany ( Bilder aus Deutschland ), is emitted a block of a stamp of 0,55 € illustrated of a drawing of the Black Forest ( Schwarzwald ), forest of the Bade-Wurtemberg dominating the valley of the the Rhine. The illustration which overflows largely of the stamp shows one of the deep valleys of the main forest. On the white margins, in gray, are visible historical constructions.

Headlights

August 10th, in the series Headlights ( Leuchttürme ), two stamps out of two are emitted maritime headlights German. The 0,45 € is devoted to the Neuland , headlight in activity of 1918 to 1996 located close to Behrensdorf, 30 km in the east of Kiel, on the the Baltic. The Hohe Weh figure on the 0,55 €: built in 1856, it announces to the sailors the presence of a not very major zone, on the coasts of the North Sea to the height of Butjadingen, in Lower Saxony.

the Captain of Köpenick

September 7th, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,55 € for the 75e birthday of the play the Captain of Köpenick ( Der Hauptmann von Köpenick ) of Carl Zuckmayer. It is inspired by the history of the usurper Wilhelm Voigt who, in 1906, disguised as a Prussian captain, managed to conceal 4000 marks with the town hall of Köpenick, with Berlin, by making use of armed soldiers misled by his uniform.

September 7th, in the annual series For us children ( Für ones Kinder ), is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € titrated Postkater (literally, “the postal tom cat”).

650 years of Hanse of the cities

September 7th, within the framework of a joint emission with the Sweden, is emitted a stamp of 0,70 € for the 650e birthday of the creation of the Hanse of the cities ( Städtehanse ) or Hanseatic League in 1356 with Lübeck. This act prolonged between cities what existed before in the form of an association of merchants. Starting from illustrations of time, the stamp presents the loading of a boat of goods.

The stamp of 4,6 × 2,732 cm is designed by Joachim Rieß starting from parts of Deutsches Schifffahrtsmuseum of Bremerhaven and of Germanisches Nationalmuseum of Nuremberg. It is printed in offset and Taille-douce in sheet of ten stamps by the Österreichischen Staatsdruckerei.

September 7th, three stamps of 10 crowns in the shape of a notebook of four are emitted by the Swedish post office over the same time, including one taking again the illustration of the stamp German and included/understood in two specimens in the notebook. The two other illustrations, in the same way let us tons of colors, also use old reproductions of commercial actions drawn by Gustav Mårtensson. The three stamps are engraved by Lars Sjööblom.

Hannah Arendt 1906-1975

October 5th, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 1,45 € for the centenary of the birth of the Hannah Arendt. Organized in three vertical parts, the stamp presents the mentions, a photograph of the philosopher and the reproduction of a manuscript of work. With the bottom of the two left-hands column, its signature is also reproduced.

The stamp of 5,5 × 3,28 cm is carried out by Peter Steiner and Regina Steiner starting from documents provided by Hannah Arendt Bluecher Literary Trust for photography and the signature and by the Georges Borchardt Inc. for the manuscript. It is printed in offset by the Bundesdruckerei of Berlin.

Fall

October 5th, in the series Posts ( Post ), is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € illustrated of an underwood at the time of the Automne. All the sheets of the trees yellowed and start to fall on the ground.

Day of the stamp: Day of the German and Austrian philatelists

October 5th, for the Day of the stamp, is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € to announce the day of the German and Austrian philatelists ( Deutscher und Österreichischer Philatelistentag ), organized from October 6th to 8th 2006 with Bad Reichenhall, on the germano-Austrian border in Bavaria. This locality had accommodated the last of these days, in 1924. The stamp reproduces a Postcard to remember realized at the time of the first day, on June 22nd, 1896 with Cologne.

The stamp of 4,6 × 2,732 cm is designed by Gerda Mr. Neumann and Horst F. Neumann. It is printed in offset in sheet of ten specimens by Bagel Security-Print, printing works of Mönchengladbach.

Für die Wohlfahrtspflege : railroad

October 5th, for the annual series of benevolence to the profit of the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft DER freien Wohlfahrtspflege, four gummed stamps are emitted and a self-adhesive, all with surtax and illustrated stamp of four models of trains having circulated on the railroads ( Eisenbahnen ) of Germany:

0,45 € + 0,20 €: the Fliegender Hamburger , first diesel train German and fastest of its time, connected Berlin and Hamburg in 1933 to the mean velocity of 125 km/h.
0,55 € + 0,25 €: the InterCityExpress of 3rd generation, Train at high speed of the Deutsche Bahn, is in service since 2000.
0,55 € + 0,25 €: version VT 11.5 of the Trans-Europ-Express train, railway material which was used in Europe of 1957 for the years 1990.
1,45 € + 0,55 €: from 1936 to 1939, the Henschel-Wegmann-Zug connected Berlin and Dresden in 1 hour 40.

The stamps of 5,5 × 3,28 cm are designed by Stefan Klein and Olaf Neumann. They are printed in offset by the Bundesdruckerei in Berlin. The four stamps are available in sheet of ten specimens; the “InterCityExpress” is also in roller of one hundred self-adhesive stamps.

Egon Bolz 1881-1945

November 9th, in the series on the aufrechte Demokraten , is emitted a stamp of 0,45 € for the 125e birthday of the birth of Egon Bolz, resistant to the Nazism carried out in January 1945. Member with the social Doctrines of the Church and chair State of the Wurtemberg, it is opposed to the policy hitlérienne. Envisaged as Minister for the Culture in the event of coup d'etat by Carl Friedrich Goerdeler, Bolz is stopped after the failure of the attack of July 20th, 1944 against Adolf Hitler.

The portrait of Bolz is put on page by Susanne Oesterlee starting from a photograph provided by the service communication of the Land of Bade-Wurtemberg. The square stamp of 3,5 cm east coast printed in offset by Bagel Security-Print, printing works of Mönchengladbach.

Fiftieth anniversary of the Nobel Prize of Werner Forßmann

November 9th, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,90 € for the 50e birthday of the Nobel Prize of physiology or medicine received in 1956 by Werner Forßmann (1904-1979) for his studies on the human Cœur, in particular the realization of the installation of the first Cathéter in this body. Its portrait neighbor with two radiographic images of the Rib cage. That of right-hand side is a Coronarographie on which is visible the coronary Artère left. In small size with more close to photography of the doctor, is shown one of the cardiac first catheterizations with entry by the vein antécubitale.

The page layout is conceived by Fritz Lüdtke starting from a photograph of Forßmann and two radiographic images belonging to the family of the doctor. The stamp of 4,6 × 2,732 cm is printed in offset in sheet of ten by the Bundesdruckerei of Berlin.

Flowers

November 9th, within the framework of the series Flowers, is emitted a stamps of everyday usage of 2 € illustrated of a Pavot of California ( Eschscholzia californica , Goldmohn in German). Square photography is page layout surrounded by white.

The stamps of 2,15 × 3,013 cm are designed by Stefan Klein and Olaf Neumann. They are printed in offset by the Bundesdruckerei of Berlin. This stamp of 2 € is emitted in sheet of ten and caster of two hundred units.

Joseph Kardinal Höffner 1906-1987

November 9th, is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € for the centenary of the birth of Joseph Höffner, archbishop of Cologne of 1969 with its death, and made cardinal in 1969. President of the conferences of the bishops of Germany, it accepted the title of Juste among the Nations to have hidden Jews during the Second world war when it was cleaned with Kail, in the Rhineland. In the bottom of its portrait appears the Latin currency “ Justitia and caritas ” (justice and Charité).

The photography of Niketius Munkler is page layout in a stamp white square of 3,5 side cm; the model is produced by Christof Gassner. The stamp is printed in offset in sheet of ten by printing works Giesecke & Devrient of Leipzig.

Christmas: paintings of Francke brother

November 9th, as a stamps of Christmas, two are emitted stamps of benevolence reproducing paintings of Frère Francke (or Meister Francke , main Francke), a monk of the beginning of the 15th century, which illustrated Retable S. the 0,45 € represents Die Geburt Christi (Birth of the Christ), a oil-base paint on which the Virgin Mary that two angels wrap of a blue coat, contemplates her new-born son Jesus, been dependant on God by convergent rays towards this last. The 0,55 € is illustrated by Die Anbetung der Könige , i.e. the worship of the Magi bringing gifts to Christ newborn. The surtaxes of 0,20 € for the 0,45 € and of 0,25 € for the 0,55 € are transferred with the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft der Freien Wohlfahrtspflege.

Works of Francke brother preserved at the Kunsthalle of Hamburg are page layouts by Annegret Ehmke starting from photographs of Bildarchiv Preußischer Kulturbesitz of Berlin. The stamps of 5,5 × 3,28 cm (broader than paintings which is surrounded by two white big spaces on which the mentions are carried) are printed in offset in sheet of ten specimens by printing works Giesecke & Devrient of Leipzig.
