January 2nd, is emitted three stamps of everyday usage of the series Fleurs. A Dahlia on the 0,35 €, a Narcisse on the 0,90 € and a iris on the 1,45 €. 1200 years of Market
January 2nd, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,45 € for the 1200e birthday of the foundation of the town of Halle, in Saxony-Anhalt ( 1200 Jahre Halle ). The illustration is a composition of five photographs of monuments of the city, saturated with a color, and on which one distinguishes into dark the letters from the name from the city. The monuments are the turns of the church of the Market (3rd and 5th bands), the frontage of the opera (4th band), as well as a statue (1st) and the frontage of another building (2nd). 50 years of the Council of the Planks
February 9th, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,90 € for the fiftieth anniversary of the creation of the council of the Frises ( Frisenrat in German), on February 18th, 1956 with Leer. Its objective is the co-operation between the Frisons of septentrional Frise of the the Schleswig-Holstein, of Eastern Frise of Lower Saxony and Western Frise of the province of Plank Dutchwoman, in particular for the defense of the Friesian language and the culture. February 9th, is emitted the annual emission of benevolence for the Sport ( Für den Sport ). It includes/understands four stamps to announce the football world cup organized in Germany from June 9th to July 9th, 2006. Each stamp is a composition of two photographs placed such ways that first to more surfaces be is entitled than the second posed at side. The right part of the stamp is preserved for the mentions on three lines: “ Für den Sport/FIFA Fussball-Weltmeisterschaft/Deutschland 2006TM ”. The description of the stamps follows their composition from left to right:- the 0,45 € + 0,20 € Stadionatmosphäre illustrates the “atmosphere of a stage” with German flags on bottom of platforms of supporteurs, then lighting of stage;

Rembrandt 1606-1669
July 13rd, within the framework of a joint emission with the Netherlands, is emitted a stamp of 0,70 € for the 400e birthday of the birth of the Dutch painter Rembrandt. It is table Saskia van Uylenburgh of profile preserved at Kassel which is put in scene for a homage where are put in scene the black of the table and the white of the margins; the profile is shifted on the line of the stamp.The square stamp of 3,5 cm east coast designed by the Netherlander Walter Nikkels according to the work of Rembrandt. Because of an error of the post office Dutchwoman, this stamp exists in one second version with phosphorus bars different from the impression carried out by Bagel. In a philatelic book, the drawing of the German stamp was to appear simply printed on a page beside that notched and gummed of the Netherlands. However, on the 45.000 specimens of pulling, all sold, the German stamp also is notched, gummed and phosphorated, which was not envisaged.

Starting from illustrations of time, the stamp presents the loading of a boat of goods.The stamp of 4,6 × 2,732 cm is designed by Joachim Rieß starting from parts of Deutsches Schifffahrtsmuseum of Bremerhaven and of Germanisches Nationalmuseum of Nuremberg. It is printed in offset and Taille-douce in sheet of ten stamps by the Österreichischen Staatsdruckerei.
September 7th, three stamps of 10 crowns in the shape of a notebook of four are emitted by the Swedish post office over the same time, including one taking again the illustration of the stamp German and included/understood in two specimens in the notebook. The two other illustrations, in the same way let us tons of colors, also use old reproductions of commercial actions drawn by Gustav Mårtensson. The three stamps are engraved by Lars Sjööblom.

Hannah Arendt 1906-1975
October 5th, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 1,45 € for the centenary of the birth of the Hannah Arendt. Organized in three vertical parts, the stamp presents the mentions, a photograph of the philosopher and the reproduction of a manuscript of work. With the bottom of the two left-hands column, its signature is also reproduced.The stamp of 5,5 × 3,28 cm is carried out by Peter Steiner and Regina Steiner starting from documents provided by Hannah Arendt Bluecher Literary Trust for photography and the signature and by the Georges Borchardt Inc. for the manuscript. It is printed in offset by the Bundesdruckerei of Berlin.

October 5th, in the series Posts ( Post ), is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € illustrated of an underwood at the time of the Automne. Day of the stamp: Day of the German and Austrian philatelists
October 5th, for the Day of the stamp, is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € to announce the day of the German and Austrian philatelists ( Deutscher und Österreichischer Philatelistentag ), organized from October 6th to 8th 2006 with Bad Reichenhall, on the germano-Austrian border in Bavaria. This locality had accommodated the last of these days, in 1924. The stamp reproduces a Postcard to remember realized at the time of the first day, on June 22nd, 1896 with Cologne.The stamp of 4,6 × 2,732 cm is designed by Gerda Mr. Neumann and Horst F. Neumann. October 5th, for the annual series of benevolence to the profit of the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft DER freien Wohlfahrtspflege, four gummed stamps are emitted and a self-adhesive, all with surtax and illustrated stamp of four models of trains having circulated on the railroads ( Eisenbahnen ) of Germany:- 0,45 € + 0,20 €: the Fliegender Hamburger , first diesel train German and fastest of its time, connected Berlin and Hamburg in 1933 to the mean velocity of 125 km/h.
- 0,55 € + 0,25 €: the InterCityExpress of 3rd generation, Train at high speed of the Deutsche Bahn, is in service since 2000.
- 0,55 € + 0,25 €: version VT 11.5 of the Trans-Europ-Express train, railway material which was used in Europe of 1957 for the years 1990.
- 1,45 € + 0,55 €: from 1936 to 1939, the Henschel-Wegmann-Zug connected Berlin and Dresden in 1 hour 40.
The stamps of 5,5 × 3,28 cm are designed by Stefan Klein and Olaf Neumann. They are printed in offset by the Bundesdruckerei in Berlin. The four stamps are available in sheet of ten specimens; the “InterCityExpress” is also in roller of one hundred self-adhesive stamps.

Egon Bolz 1881-1945
November 9th, in the series on the aufrechte Demokraten , is emitted a stamp of 0,45 € for the 125e birthday of the birth of Egon Bolz, resistant to the Nazism carried out in January 1945. Member with the social Doctrines of the Church and chair State of the Wurtemberg, it is opposed to the policy hitlérienne. Envisaged as Minister for the Culture in the event of coup d'etat by Carl Friedrich Goerdeler, Bolz is stopped after the failure of the attack of July 20th, 1944 against Adolf Hitler.The portrait of Bolz is put on page by Susanne Oesterlee starting from a photograph provided by the service communication of the Land of Bade-Wurtemberg. Fiftieth anniversary of the Nobel Prize of Werner Forßmann
November 9th, is emitted a Timbre commemorative of 0,90 € for the 50e birthday of the Nobel Prize of physiology or medicine received in 1956 by Werner Forßmann (1904-1979) for his studies on the human Cœur, in particular the realization of the installation of the first Cathéter in this body. Its portrait neighbor with two radiographic images of the Rib cage. That of right-hand side is a Coronarographie on which is visible the coronary Artère left. In small size with more close to photography of the doctor, is shown one of the cardiac first catheterizations with entry by the vein antécubitale.The page layout is conceived by Fritz Lüdtke starting from a photograph of Forßmann and two radiographic images belonging to the family of the doctor. November 9th, within the framework of the series Flowers, is emitted a stamps of everyday usage of 2 € illustrated of a Pavot of California ( Eschscholzia californica , Goldmohn in German). Square photography is page layout surrounded by white.The stamps of 2,15 × 3,013 cm are designed by Stefan Klein and Olaf Neumann. They are printed in offset by the Bundesdruckerei of Berlin. This stamp of 2 € is emitted in sheet of ten and caster of two hundred units.
Joseph Kardinal Höffner 1906-1987
November 9th, is emitted a stamp of 0,55 € for the centenary of the birth of Joseph Höffner, archbishop of Cologne of 1969 with its death, and made cardinal in 1969. President of the conferences of the bishops of Germany, it accepted the title of Juste among the Nations to have hidden Jews during the Second world war when it was cleaned with Kail, in the Rhineland. In the bottom of its portrait appears the Latin currency “ Justitia and caritas ” (justice and Charité).The photography of Niketius Munkler is page layout in a stamp white square of 3,5 side cm; the model is produced by Christof Gassner. The stamp is printed in offset in sheet of ten by printing works Giesecke & Devrient of Leipzig.
Christmas: paintings of Francke brother
November 9th, as a stamps of Christmas, two are emitted stamps of benevolence reproducing paintings of Frère Francke (or Meister Francke , main Francke), a monk of the beginning of the 15th century, which illustrated Retable S. the 0,45 € represents Die Geburt Christi (Birth of the Christ), a oil-base paint on which the Virgin Mary that two angels wrap of a blue coat, contemplates her new-born son Jesus, been dependant on God by convergent rays towards this last. The 0,55 € is illustrated by Die Anbetung der Könige , i.e. the worship of the Magi bringing gifts to Christ newborn. The surtaxes of 0,20 € for the 0,45 € and of 0,25 € for the 0,55 € are transferred with the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft der Freien Wohlfahrtspflege.Works of Francke brother preserved at the Kunsthalle of Hamburg are page layouts by Annegret Ehmke starting from photographs of Bildarchiv Preußischer Kulturbesitz of Berlin.
