Stalingrad (subway of Paris)
Stalingrad is a station of the lines 2, 5 and 7 of the Métro of Paris; it is located at the limit of the 10 {{E}} and 19 {{E}} districts of Paris.
The station
In the beginning, there were two stations with distinct names:- the station of line 2, named Aubervilliers
- and the station of line 7 Boulevard of the Villette
The October 6th 1942, they amalgamate under the name of Aubervilliers - Boulevard of the Villette .
It is the February 10th 1946, which it takes its current name, due to the victory of the Red Army (the USSR) with the Bataille with Stalingrad, which opposed it to the German Army (III {{E}} Reich) of September 1942 at February 1943. The town of Stalingrad (of Stalin) has had for summer famous Volgograd.
