Stalemate Cadigan

Pat Cadigan (born in 1953 with Schenectady, New York, E. - U.) is a American author of Science-fiction, whose works are sometimes described like falling under the movement Cyberpunk, although she does not assert this membership.

Biography

Pat Cadigan grew in the town of Fitchburg in the state of the Massachusetts, then during a score of years to Kansas City. It made its studies with the Université of Massachusetts and the Université of Kansas, which it left graduate in 1975. It began then its career from writer at Hallmark Cards. It was published for the first time in 1981; this success of author encouraged it to write full-time starting from 1987. Since 1996, it lives with London in England.

Its novels Synners ( syntheretic the ) of 1991 and Fools ( Put in abyme ) of 1992 accepted both the Prix Arthur C. Clarke of the best novel of SF of the year in the United Kingdom.

Pat Cadigan also tested with the Fantastique with works such the test of fire or the boys under the rain .
