Stakes

The collective group Jalons or Jalons is the name of a group of jokers French, which became with the wire of time an institution of franc-tireurs of French humor, in particular known for its parodies and famous pastiches of newspapers.

The group Jalons at its beginnings often organizes happenings laughing. To protest against one particularly rigorous winter (1983), they organize a manifestion with the subway Glacière asking the resignation of the Head of the State of the time the cries of “Glaze assassin, Mitterrand accessory! ”. The group is directed by Basile de Koch (of its true name Bruno Tellenne, brother of Karl Zero, and former writer of the speeches of Charles Pasqua) and by his wife Frigide Barjot.

One owes him an interesting application of the quantum Mécanique to the operation of the subway. According to an exclusive experiment, this group would have shown that travellers going Star to Nation pass well by Barbès if one closes the line passing by Denfert, and Denfert if one closes the line passing by Barbès, but by the two stations at the same time when the two lines are open, drawing the attention of the RATP to this fraud of a new kind.

Stakes was constituted with time as in French company of publication of press and edition, specialized in the irregular publication of pastiches and humorous books.

Stakes published a homonymous humorous newspaper, with the irregular publication, first of all in the form of fanzine in the Années 1980, then in the form of magazine until the end of the Années 1990.

First of all definitely centered on the parody of the political world, the pastiches of the Stakes evolved, because of certain changes in the composition of the group, to a more moderate satire of the medium people . The group is illustrated today primarily by fashionable happenings and evenings.

The various members of the group Jalons (the group having evolved/moved much during the years) use pseudonyms in the form of pun: Brice de Thet, Hubert Mensch, Pazin Jean-Wolf, OJ Liquor, Yvan Dressamer, the Viscount of Puypeu, Sarah Mitten, Eva D' Anlemure, Youri Ligotmi, Ice-cold Barjot, Aldo Prisu, Tony Mozzarella, Dr. Sam Bloch, Raoul Rabut, Agathe de Blouze, Guy-Michel Ground, Jean-Paul Polpote… Many original members of the group were former students of the same elementary school of the 7th district of Paris, located street Malar. Raoul Rabut of Stakes (Eric Tellene, another brother of Karl Zero) held a bizarro-poetic chronicle on Radio Nova and published some books.

After having asked for in summary procedure the seizure of Fientrevue (without success), Hachette thus continued for the same Jalons reasons by claiming approximately 1.200.000 € damages. In first authority, the judge allocated 2.500 € including all taxes with Entrevue , which appealed at once (stop awaited for the autumn 2007).
