Stage of the Tour de France of the Park of the Princes
The Tour de France completes its course with the Parc of the Princes in Paris of 1903 with 1967. After the demolition of the track cyclist of the Park of the Princes in July 1967, the final arrival of the Turn takes place to the Vélodrome of Vincennes (Cipale) of 1968 - 1974, then since 1975, on the Fields-Élysées.
At the time of the edition 1903, the final arrival was initially envisaged with the Park of the Princes. A prohibited order of the prefect however arrivals of races on road to the Park. The real arrival of the first edition is judged then with City-with Avray, but the runners continue to the Park of the Princes, where they carry out a lap of honor and where the handing-over of the prices takes place. The order of the prefect prohibiting the arrivals of races on road to the Park of the Princes is suspended since 1903, making it possible from now on the Turn to consider its arrival final on the track of the Door of Auteuil.
