The stage of Roudourou accommodates the home matches of the football team of the In front of Guingamp. It is located in the district of the same name which means “small brook”.
Following the work completed in 2007, it has a capacity of 18120 places.
History
The first section of construction of the Stade of Roudourou took place in 1990 with the rise in the presidential platform and the grandstand. The inauguration of the first version of the stage took place in August 1990 by the reception of the Paris Saint German.
A first wave of work took place in 1995 during which platforms were built behind the goals. These two platforms, the side one Is and the Western létérale are of identical capacity. The difference comes owing to the fact that one of these platforms (side west) is equipped with a roof.
One second wave of work took place in 2007. The principal changes are the construction of a roof on the side platform is and the platform intended for the supporteurs visitors, the creation of cabins in the platform honor, the restoration of the cloakrooms of the teams and the Arbitres, the enlarging of the press room, the setting to the standards of lightings and the construction of a building intended to accommodate additional events.
Anecdote
The stage of Roudourou is a single case in Europe since it can contain 2,3 times the population of the town of Guingamp.
