The Stade Meinau is the principal stage of the town of Strasbourg. It is an enclosure dedicated to the Football used since 1914 by the Racing Club of Strasbourg.

History

The Racing Club of Strasbourg, still called FC Neudorf n the other hand signs on April 1st 1914 of a monthly rent of 300 DM a long lease for the use of the Garden Haemmerlé, long meadow surrounded by working gardens become mythical to the eyes of of Strasbourg under the current name of Stage of Meinau. To note that the stage of the Garden of Haemmerlé was used between 1906 and 1914 by the FC Frankonia. A series of lawsuit was necessary to make expel the FCF which had created of all parts this enclosure.
