Stage Aime-Giral
The stage Aime-Giral is a Stade located at Perpignan, in the the Eastern Pyrenees.
The stage bears the name of the captain Aimé Giral, died during the Guerre 14-18 player of US Perpignan, like Fournier, Lida… On the whole seven of them, will give their life for France. In the enclosure of the stage a war memorial their is dedicated.
It is useful as stage with the Sporting union harlequins perpignanais (USAP), club of Rugby to XV evolving/moving in the Top 14. It has a capacity of 13.500 places including 9340 sitted places.
The two side platforms bear the names of: Desclaux and of Knight.
A Vaquer platform sheltering the cloakrooms is located behind the posts, at an end of the ground. One second of this type will be in construction during 2007 at the other end, it will bear the name of Bernard Goutta, just former captain of the USAP and from now on Co-trainer of his fronts.
It should be noted that the USAP joins together more than 10000 subscribers, which returns obtaining a difficult sitted place for the not-subscribers.
