Stadium Arcadium is the ninth album studio of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It left in the vats on May 9th, 2006 to France.

According to an interview of Anthony Kiedis, singer of the group, Stadium Arcadium in the beginning was envisaged as a series of 3 albums which should have left in 6 months interval. Finally, it will be about an double album, the first of the group, composed of 28 songs, first CD has as a name Jupiter and the second Mars. The preliminary draft comprised 38 songs, thus the 10 songs which were not retained to be reproduced on the album could leave in no-claims bonus on certain albums. The first individual one extracted the album contains one or two songs no-claims bonus, according to the version of individual, one can think that these songs come from the ten évincées.

This first individual is entitled " Dani California ". This one falls under the continuity of " Californication " and " By the Way ", songs in which the character of Dani, a Californian girl, was already present.

In this album, one is again able to benefit from the talent of John Frusciante to the guitar, which lays us some powerful solos, as in Wet Sand or Readymade. Once again, the tubes funk-hardware rock'n'roll (Torture Me, Warlocks, Turn It Again) côtoient the quieter ballades (Stadium Arcadium, Hard to Concentrate, If), which makes of this very varied double album a musical well, a practice of the RHCP. Some beautiful lucky finds also, with Charlie, Make You Better Feel, Snow ((Hey Oh)) and So Much I. Flea come to add its magic key with low, which gives all its direction to the music of Peppers. Several fronts of its vintage (Torture Me, Such Me Baby, Storm In has Teacup) will come to ensure the position of Flea in the prize list of the best bass players the world.

Stadium Arcadium is also available in limited edition, sold in a block box which will contain 2 CD as well as a DVD on which one will find the clip and the making-of of " Dani California" , a one hour interview of the group, a booklet of 28 pages illustrated by the members of the group.

Anthony Kiedis also declared that this album constituted a return to the sources since it comprises pieces more funk that on the last albums, however more melody songs as on Californication and By the Way will be also present. Flea declared with the magazine Rolling Stone that this album was the best than they had ever recorded.
