Stacy Ferguson

Fergie , of its true name Stacy Ferguson , is a American Chanteuse of R&B, as well as an actress, born the March 27th 1975 in Whittier in California. She belonged to the casting of the televised series for children Kids Incorporated and was also member of the female group Wild Orchid. She was also the Co-presenter of the emission Great Pretenders . Fergie is especially known to be the feminine voice of the group of Hip-Hop The Black Eyed Peas, like for its career solo, which began with the exit from its first album The Dutchess in 2006. Three individual extracts of this album were even classified 1st of Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, making of it the first female artist has to place three titles resulting from the same album #1, since Christina Aguilera with the beginning of the year 2000.

Biography

Youth

Fergie was born in Hacienda Heights in California and is the girl of Terri Gore and Patrick Ferguson. She has a sister, Dana, which is her also actress. His/her parents exerted the trade of teacher. She received a very strict catholic education and belonged to the female scouts. During its youth, it was also member of a Mexican gang of Hacienda Heights.

Career of actress

Fergie took part in the program for children Kids Incorporated during several years by interpreting the role of Renee Sandstrom, who became one of the members of the group Wild Orchid. In April 2007, she acknowledged during an interview which she had known one period of sexual perdition and addiction to drug when she was 18 years old: " I had experiences lesbians in the past. Musical career

Fergie was one of the members of the female trio which formed the group Wild Orchid. Wild Orchid left two albums, but after having finished the recording of their third, their recording company decided not to market it. It thus decided to leave the group little time afterwards. The name of the album is a mis-spellt alternative of the old title of Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, with which Fergie shares a patronym and this nickname. This career solo does not mean therefore the end of Black Eyed Peas, because she wants to cumulate both and thus did not leave the group. The Dutchess is rather similar in the style so that make Black Eyed Peas, Will.i.am, one of the members of Black Eyed Peas being the executive producer of this album. This album at summer a great success thanks to its mixture of R&B, Pop and Hip-Hop. Three of the individual extracts of The Dutchess were classified #1 in the United States, first of all London Bridge, then Glamorous and finally Big Girls Don' T Cry. Its second individual, Fergalicious, was classified only 2nd. London Bridge was classified #2 in the signal of the world sales, whereas Fergalicious and Glamorous has both summer #4. Big Girls Don' T Cry , a title much more Pop that R&B, was thus its world first #1, while being also its individual which had the most success. Clumsy is its fifth individual which makes following the unexpected success of the individual precedent Big Girls Don' T Cry , and was marketed on September 25th in America.

Its second album solo is planned for January 2008. Its producer, Will.i.am, confirmed that the album with half was already recorded. This one should be finalized for December 2007.
