Stackless Python
Stackless Python is an experimental implementation of the language Python, named thus because it aims at completely eliminating the use of the pile from the language C. The language supports the generating Continuation S, , the Microthread S and the Coroutine S.
Because of the considerable number of changes in the source code, Stackless Python cannot be installed over a preexistent installation of Python as an extension or a library. On the contrary, it is a complete Python distribution in itself. The majority of the functions of Stackless Python were also implemented in PyPy, a Python interpreter in Python.
Stackless Python is enormously used in the implementation of EVE Online, an online game massively multijouor.
