Stability of the structures

A structure is made up of:

The stability of a structure is assured when the efforts, which are:
  • the weight of the structure called actual weights
  • the equipment of the work (coatings or partitions) called continued loads
  • loads coming from the use of the work, called running costs
  • efforts due to the wind or snow called climatic loads
  • efforts pulled by a seism called seismic loads
are correctly brought back on the infrastructure. The latter has as a role to transmit to the ground the undergone efforts.
