Staatsgalery (Stuttgart)
The Staatsgalerie Stuttgart is a museum and a Art gallery to Stuttgart in Germany which opened its doors in 1843. In 1984 the opening of the Neue Staatsgalerie drawn by James Stirling (between 1977 and 1983) transformed what was before a a little provincial place of exposure in one of the Musée S more to the point of Europe.
Alte Staatsgallerie
In the beginning, the traditional building of invoice of the Alte Staatsgallerie was also the seat of the royal school of fine art. Built in 1843, it was increased by two additional wings between 1881 and 1887. After destroybeing completely destroyed at the time of the Second world war, it was rebuilt as from 1946 and was reopened with the public in 1948.The Staatsgalerie holds the following collections:

The Neue Staatsgalerie , a discussed architecture drawn by James Stirling, opened on March 9th, 1984 on a site very close to the old building. It accommodates a collection of Modern art of the 20th century, energy of Pablo Picasso with Oskar Schlemmer, Joan Miró and Joseph Beuys.
