SsangYong

Ssangyong (Korean 쌍용자동차) is a mark of car Sud-coréenne created in 1954. Its production in 2005 was of: 150000 vehicles.

SAIC controls 51% of the capital of Ssangyong and projects in 2006 its development in all the Asia.

Models

  • Korando : launched under the name Daewoo in 1996, then taken again by Ssangyong since September 2004. production stopped in 2006.
  • Musso: 4x4 of the type “station-wagon”; stopped production.
  • Musso Sports: version record player of Musso; stopped production.
  • Kyron: presented like the little brother of Rexton, which has a cubic capacity of 2000  cm ³.
  • Actyon: model marketed since the end of 2006, this SUV is with the style of Kyron but with a more sporting line.
  • Actyon Sports: model “record player” of Actyon, marketed since the beginning of 2007.
  • Rexton: first model of the series “Rexton”, marketed towards the end 2001, of type SUV (stopped marketing). Motorization available only in 2900  cm ³.
  • New Rexton : second model of the Rexton series, left about 2003, (also exists in 2900  cm ³ gasoline, 3200  cm ³ gasoline and 2300  cm ³ in the Netherlands).
  • Rexton II: the third Rexton model.
  • Rodius: family first monospace of the mark.
