Squaw Valley

Squaw Valley is one of greatest and famous winter sports resorts of the the United States. It accommodated the Winter Olympics of 1960, and it is about the second greater field of the Lac Tahoe after Heavenly. Squaw Valley is the only site out of Europe to being equipped with a Funitel.

The station places at the disposal various attractive activities as well in winter as in summer when cĂ´toient skating rink, cinema, exits pedestrian and equestrian, thermal spa and courts of tennis.

The station owes much its success thanks to the work of Alexander Cushing, founder and president de Ski Corporation, head office of the station of Squaw Valley.

One can note that the station accommodates each year an International Conference of writers.
