Square of art in Leipzig

The square of art to Leipzig is the museum of the Art schools on 7  000 m 2 .

This new open building in 2005 is a great covered square of 36 m height glass located in the center of the city. It replaces that which had been inaugurated in 1837 and had been destroyed by a bombardment on December 4th 1943.

It was conceived by the office Berlin ois Hufnagel Pütz Rafaelian.

A monumental interior court, barring the square in the medium, rises to the ridge of the building. On each floor the sight on outside is without obstacle. The parts have varied formats.
