Square Mathilde

Square Mathilde , known as Micheline , known as Lydie , known as the She-cat , born the February 19th 1910 with the Creusot and died in 1970, is a French spy and writer.

She is at her beginnings a resistant of the first hour. As of November 1940, it recruits and brings information for network - the future Interallied Réseau, that London recognizes (SOE).

The January 3rd 1949, it passes in lawsuit. Its defense rests on its assertion of its contribution in London of the flow chart of Abwehr on Resistance. To the last audience, the January 7th, it is condemned to death. It is pardoned in April, and condemned to 20 years of reclusion. Two years later, it is released for health reasons .

She writes her memories, published in 1970 per Albin Michel, under the title One called me the She-cat . In this book, it calls into question much of things known as or written on it, like testimonys of Pierre de Vomécourt, Hugo Bleicher or Albert Naud. She is opposed to many assertions of the book of Gordon Young: the spy n°1: the She-cat (Beech, 1957).
