Square D

Square D is a American Entreprise, integrated into the French group Schneider Electric since 1991.

It was founded in 1903 under the name of Detroit Fuses and Manufacturing and produced Fusible S under cases and of the fusible switches out of boxes.

The notoriety of “D” signing the box-conduit of the company made it adopt the name of Public garden D. In the years 40, Square D has 10 factories in the United States and employs 7000 people. After the Second world war, Square D is established in Europe, Asia and South Africa.

The products and systems of the mark Square D are present in all the branches of industry, of the Disjoncteur to the system of supervision and control. The tertiary and residential buildings are a major outlet of the products Square D, so used in aviation.
