Spyro the Dragon (video game)

Spyro the Dragon is a Video game of platforms developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 1998 on PlayStation. It is about the first episode of the series Spyro the Dragon.

Scenario

Gnasty Gnorc, a being mid- gnome mid- Orc, transforms all the dragon S of the kingdom into Statue of Cristal. Only Spyro, a young purple dragon, is saved because its small size enabled him to escape the fate.

Gameplay

The player controls the Spyro dragon which can spit of the flames, charge the enemies and plane. He is accompanied by Sparx, small a Libellule, which is used as meter of not of life: with each received blow, it changes color (Or, then Bleu, then Vert) until disappearing. Spyro is then completely vulnerable. The system to gain lives is single with this episode; it will be replaced by the capacity to catch certain luminous butterflies.

Music

Stewart Copeland, ex-beater of the group The Organizes, composed the musics of Spyro The Dragon.

The Kingdoms of the dragon are divided into seven worlds, themselves subdivided in several levels, with-through which Spyro travels by Portail S.
