Spymaster

Origin

Spymaster is a criminal dressed up with the head of a network of spies of elite, engaged by the Zodiac, an criminal organization, to steal the projects of Stark Industries, directed by Tony Stark (Iron Man). The Gilded Avenger prevented the criminal from sabotaging the factory Island Length, but this last succeeds in escaping.

Little time afterwards, it was again engaged by the Zodiac to capture Daredevil, where it failed. It joined then certain members of the Zodiac (of which Capricorn and Sagittarius) to steal mysterious Clef of the Zodiac, that Stark studied in its factory on behalf of the SHIELD. The mission failed and it again succeeds in fleeing.

It spent several years in the most complete discretion, then was engaged by agents of the SHIELD, which wished to eliminate Stark, but without the agreement of Nick Fury. The bomb which it placed in the apartment of Tony Stark exploded, but only Ani-Men were killed. It cut down also the robot-clone of Stark, created by the scientists of the SHIELD. Then, it infiltrated the offices of Stark Industries and tried to plunder the host computer. But Iron Man put it in rout.

Months later, it belonged to the team consisted Justin Hammer to kill Iron Man. But this last succeeds in overcoming the section, without however capturing the masked criminal.

It was engaged later by Mrs Masque, then with the head of the Néfaria family of the Maggia, to remove Bethany Cabe, the boyfriend of Stark and to steal a prototype. It benefitted from it to steal the case which contained the armor of the Avenger, but its henchmen were mistaken and removed by error the partner of Cabe, Ling McPherson. Iron Man and Jim Rhodos infiltrated the den of Mrs Masque in Connecticut. Jim continued Spymaster, in a race of helicopter. Once again, Spymaster managed to flee, with the prototype this time.

Spymaster disappeared a time from circulation, until A.I.M. urges it to infiltrate the new company of Stark, Stark Entreprises, in Los Angeles. It infiltrated under the features of a young boxer, coaché by the friend of Tony Stark, Harol " Happy" Hogan. This last discovered one day its protected taking photographs of the plans of Stark. Iron Man intervened and once again put it in escape.

Later, Roxxon Oil Company sought to buy a generator of particles béta in Accutech, a society based in California, which refused the offer. Roxxon engaged then the Phantom, an industrial saboteur, to destroy the company of electronics gradually. Iron Man prevented their plans. Disappointed by its agent, Roxxon dismissed the Phantom and engaged Spymaster in the place. It was made pass for Stark and tried to kill the Phantom, which had the safe life only thanks to the assistance of Iron Man. The Phantom was avenged by wedging Spymaster in a wall, thanks to its mode of intangibility, killing it on the blow. A substitute was trained to replace it but seems to have disappeared.

Recently, one re-examined new Spymaster to make team with the Phantom to overcome their common enemy. Current Spymaster is a business man, and knows the identity of Iron Man (this one had little before made public its identity before returning on its dires at the time of Avengers Disassembled).

Capacities

Spymaster is equipped with a costume covered with kevlar, bullet shield, equipped with a jetpack, and gadjets very modern.
Its belt comprises a remote control enabling him to control a hoverjet remotely.
Its gloves are equipped with rays with misappropriation, and it has magnets electromagnetic, able formerly to paralyze the armor of Iron Man. It has also an electric net has the same effect.
One already saw it using missiles flamers, able to track the armor of the Gilded Avenger, and flying discs, enough hard to slice certain parts of the armor.
It is also equipped with an apparatus which absorbs electrical energy, and can thus empty the batteries of the cybernetic armours.
It is a good shot, armed with dazing guns and lasers, or soporific gas capsules.
It is a professional of espionage, sabotage and combat with naked hands.
