Spundekäs

The Spundekäs is a preparation of fresh cheeses which comes at the Rhenish origin of Hesse. The traditional form is conical like the closing of a barrel (Bonde). The base of Spundekäs is always composed of fresh cheeses, Beurre, Oignons, Poivre, food Sel and Piment soft.

According to the receipt, Spundekäs is also prepared with of Schmand or the creams with milk Caillé fresh. The spices and the grasses can vary.
