Spring (1993)
Spring is a group of pop Frenchwoman made up goshawks of Alex Pavlou of 1993 to 1998. Its music is characterized by pop melody mixing sixties influences and electronic.
Formation of the group
Spring is formed in March 1993 with following manpower:- Alex: Song
- Jean-Baptiste: guitar
- Daniel: Low
The first concert takes place on April 11th with the Passage of Western North. The group has only two songs. They thus interpret a resumption of Moose: Untitled Coils Song . Bronco (future Phoenix) is with the battery.
The group records a live demonstration in September with Thomas Bangalter with the keyboards and the production.
The formation evolves/moves in October:

The next month, the group plays in first part of Moose & Sidi Bou Said in Paris, then in London April 21st and 22nd 1994, with Earl Brutus and Moose.
It makes its first appearance discographic on compilation We Are Icerink (Icerink), in June 1994. The booklet proposes a photograph of the group.
On June 16th and 17th 1995, Spring ensures the first part of Divine Comedy Paris.
1 First individual
The Spanish label Elefant Records signs the in September 1995 group. The first individual one, " Something Beginning" , will appear in 45t in February 1996.
The first part of Lush in Paris on September 28th, 1995 will be the last of the group under this formation. In October, the group is composed of:

February 1996 is marked by the exit of individual and the concert of the 17 with Herzfeld & Q4tre in Paris.
The group takes then the way of Spain and plays Madrid March 10th and 11th with Revolution 9, Automatics & Sr Chinarro. It records a radio session there (" True Elegance" , " Goodluck Charm" , " Indifférence" & " Como Aviador" , begun again Spanish group Family).
The composition of the group evolves/moves again in April with the arrival of the sister of Alex, Michelle, with the keyboard.
May 25th, 1995, Spring plays Paris with Olympia & Katerine. In June, it records " Be My Star" with Indurain and " Hotel" with Extra Lucid.
Of return in Spain, the group gives a concert to San Sebastian on July 28th then on August 6th with the festival of Benicassim.
The same month, Spring records a first album in London with Brian O' Shaughnessy.
In October: exit of " Be My Star" out of individual CD. (" Be My Star" , " Hotel" and two remixes).
On November 17th, 18th and 19th, Spring plays in first part of Pulp in Spain (Madrid, Valence, Barcelona) and records a radio second session (" Shakin' Will" , " Corrupted Street" , " Hancel there Gretel" , " Tokyo Drifter" , " L.O.V.E"). On November 21st and 22nd, the group plays with Pulp in Toulouse then Bordeaux.
First album and festivals
The album " Tokyo Drifter" in January 1996 leaves. The 13 and 14, Spring gives concerts with the Spanish group Mans to Madrid and Barcelona.
In February, Marie replaces Michele with the keyboard. Spring records three resumptions of groups of the Movida " Hansel there Gretel" (Golpes Bajos), " No Por Qué" (Alaska there Los Pegamoides) and " Tan Lejos" (Decimated Victima) for individual Elefant club.
The concerts follow one another: April 12th, in showcase with the FNAC Madrid, on April 26th for YES FM in Shéhérazade in Paris, on May 1st in first started from Moose to Paris. On May 30th and 31st with Donosti and Lasarte, on August 6th with the evening of closure festival of Benicassim, on August 16th with the Road of the Rock'n'roll in Saint-Malo, on September 22nd with festival BAM in Barcelona.
Individual CD " Matinées" in September leaves. The next month, Spring records the mini-LP " Out off time" with DJ Pez, which will leave in April. The year will finish with a concert of Christmas to Madrid.
The group records its second album " The Last Goodbye" in March and April with the Boxes studios (Madrid).
" Out Off Time" leaves in April and, to Germany, " Chuck It Up" , Individual CD on Bungalow.
