Spoy is a common French, located in the department of the Coast-with Or and the area Burgundy.

Geography

The village of Spoy is located on the edge of the Bast, small flowing river of the Saone.

History

The name of the village would find its orgigine around 630, named initially Cypetum, a literal translation of this word returns to a tron of tree where with the place dedicated to the culture of the vine. It is into 1276 that the name of Sepoy is born.
