The Sports complex Moulay Abdallah (in Arab: المجمعالرياضيمولايعبدالله) is a complex inaugurated in 1983 and located at the south-west of the town of Rabat, and close to the peripheral highway. It is the property of the Urban community of Rabat, it also constitutes the stronghold of the football club of FAR of Reduction.
In 2000, the stage knew a major restoration which consisted inter alia of the installation of new seats.
Architectural characteristics
The complex is composed of a football stadium and a room omnisport of: 10 000 places. The football stadium is the second greater stage with the Morocco after the Stade Mohamed V of Casablanca, it often shelters the matches of the Marocaine national team of Football.
Its configuration and its full capacity are of: 60 000 numbered individual sitted places of which: 25 000 covered places: 1 500 individual and numbered sitted places, for the VIP and Official: 5 000 sitted and individual places for the media and 150 places for handicapped people.
For the media, it has one:
- Press room of 600 m ² and many complementary buildings available
- Room of interviews to the ground floor of 30 m ²
- mixed Zone in the stage: 600 m ²
