Sports association of Monaco Football Club indicates the professional section of the club of Football of the Principality of Monaco founded in 1919 by fusion of several clubs. The ACE Monaco football will join in 1924 the very new Sports association of Monaco, general sports club, to become about it only the section dedicated to football.

The club chaired by Michel Pastor, Gerard Brianti and Adnan Houdrouge while being vice-presidents, evolves/moves in the championship of France in Ligue 1. The June 5th 2007, Laurent Banide, trainer since the October 23rd 2006, after the setting well off László Bölöni, is not renewed in its functions. The June 7th, Brazilian the Raymundo Ricardo Gums, known as Ricardo, engages for two years with the head of the team.

  • the Sports association of Monaco is born on August 23rd, 1924. This general sports club is the fruit of an amalgamation of several sporting companies of the Principality: Swimming Club, Monaco Sport (ex-Herculis, football club emblematic of the Principality founded in 1903, renamed in 1923 Monaco Sport), A.S. Beausoleil, Star of Monaco and Riviera A.C. Champion of the League of South-east in 1933, a.S.M. joined the professional rows. Having of a stage with the standards since 1939 (the stage Louis II, inaugurated on April 23rd, 1939) and a competitive team which removes the championship of the League of South-east in 1948, a.S. Monaco joined the professional rows (1948).
