The Sporting Élan Chalonnais is a professional club French of Basket-ball pertaining to the elite of the championship of France. It is based in the town of Châlon-sur-saône.
History
Beginnings
The Sporting Dash Chalonnais was founded in 1955 thanks to the fusion of clubs born before war: the Sports association Chalonnaise and Élan of Midsummer's Day of the Vines. Nevertheless at that time, the Dash remains in the subsoils of the regional Basket-ball. The alarm clock will come finally… from the Football. Indeed, it is while amalgamating with Football Club of Bourgneuf-Mercurey that the Dash finally will take its take-off. Then it will be a succession of descents (1977, 1981, 1983) and rises (1978, 1982) between N2 and N3, before collapse and the return in N4 in the middle of the years 1980. But Chalon accustomed the Basket-ball French to accessions spctaculaires and does not hope to remain about it there. In 1989 the Dash is champion of France of N4 and thus finds the higher level, then N2 in 1990.The elite
And then it is the great jump, in 1994, haloed of a championship of France of Main road 2, the Dash discovers the elite and Main road 1.
