The sporting Club sfaxien (rear RTL الناديالرياضيالصفاقسي) (CS) Tunisia N is a general sports club. This page relates to only the section Football.
History
During the period when the town of Sfax is under the French protectorate, as the remainder of the country, the sports activities are organized according to the communities. Thus, the team of the , railroads Sfax railways sports, shelters the players of Jewish confession and Christian, from where the idea to found a football team for the Moslem . This club east creates the May 28th 1928 under the name of Tunisian Club by the journalist Zouheir Ayadi and its colors are then the green and the red. The team is promoted in Tunisian division of honor in 1939. Béchir Fendri created the first committee of supporters in 1950.Into 1962, the club changes its name into sporting Club sfaxien under the colors black and white. In 1978, CS celebrates its fiftieth anniversary with the championship of Tunisia of football thanks to its international players: Hammadi Agrebi, Mohammed Ali Akid and Mokhtar Dhouib. The November 28th 1998, with Sfax, vis-a-vis the team of ASC Jeanne d' Arc of the Senegal (victory with outward journey 1-0 in Senegal and return 3-0 to Sfax), CS gains its first Coupe of the CIF then, the November 24th 2007, its second cut against Al Merreikh Omdurman of the Sudan (victory with outward journey 4-2 in Omdurman and return 1-0 to Sfax).
