The Sporting Club Graulhetois , or SC Graulhet , is a club of Rugby French located at Graulhet (Tarn) evolving/moving in Fédérale 1 (D3) in 2007-08.

History

Founded in 1910, it is distinguished in the regional championships from the Pyrenees what enables him to take part in the championships of France of Promotion (the Third Division, 1936 and 1948), Excellence (the Second Division, 1949) and finally Nationale (the First Division) which it reaches in 1949. It will be qualified then regularly for the final stages.

Although semi-finalist of the championship of France to four recoveries, the SC Graulhet forever gained the Shield of Brennus nor even have happiness to take part in the finale. The club is relegated in the Group B of the First Division in 1990 but goes up at once, matching its return of a title vis-a-vis Rumilly. It leaves the high level at the time of the season 1994-95, when the First Division is reduced to 20 clubs.

The SCG is especially famous to have provided a great number of international to the team of France, since the first, Guy Pauthe selected in 1946 to face England. Large players like Daniel Revailler, Guy Laporte, Henri Sanz and Fabien Pelous carried at one time or other of their career illustrates the red tunic graulhétoise. The international last goes back to it being the native Yannick Jauzion.
