The club which evolves/moves this season in CFA is chaired by Alain Bencivengo and is pulled by André Blanc. It is an old section of the general sports Club of the sporting Club Toulon-native.

History

The Club

Sporting Club of Toulon is founded in 1944 by fusion of Sporting Club of the Temple (founded in 1933) and of Toulon-native Sporting Youth. The of the department of Var club reaches for the first time in D1 in 1959 while finishing 3rd in D2. In Coupe de France, Toulon disputes two semi-finals in 1963 and 1984.

After money worries which lead other than the club of the championship in 1998 - 99, the club starts again as an amateur with the name of “Sporting Toulon Var” and will connect three rises in four years to evolve/move today in the championship of National. The club should thus soon find the place which is due for him, would not be this that for the unconditional support of the public of Good-Meets increasingly many. However, after a good start of season the club connects the bad results at the time of the season 2006 - 2007 and passes from the statute of candidate to the rise to that of reléguable potential.
