Sport hall of Orleans
The sport hall of Orleans is a sports complex which joins together a swimming pool and thirteen sports halls of which vastest (: 3222 places) accommodates great international competitions which proceed with Orleans, like the world cup of female saber, the open one of Tennis, as well as the matches of Basket-ball of the Entente Orléanaise Loiret.
The additional rooms are distributed on four stages and are specialized by activity: Table tennis, shooting, Boxing, musculation, dance, Karate, Fight, Judo, general sports. Their use is reserved for school in the course of the day and the clubs in evening.
Before the inauguration of the zenith of Orleans in 1996, certain concerts were organized with the sport hall:
- Michel Polnareff, in 1967;
- Barbara, in November 1990;
- Michel Sardou, in March 1991;
- Jean-Jacques Goldman, in October 1991.
