Sporozoïte

In the vital cycle of the Protozoon S Apicomplexa, the sporozoïtes are cells which infect new hosts. For example, at the parasites which cause the Malaria, the sporozoïtes are cells which leave the mosquito and penetrate in the liver, where they multiply. The cells infected by the sporozoïtes burst, releasing from the Mérozoïte S.

The sporozoïtes are formed by Sporogonie (a type of sexual or asexual reproduction), by multiples Fission S of a spore or zygote, characteristic of various Sporozoaire S.
