Spolète is a city of the Province of Perugia in Ombrie in Italy.
Geography
Near the city the Monteluco which culminates with 827 meters was covered with a crowned wood dedicated to Jupiter.
History
Important Jewish community until in 1441. Holy-Abundance there is venerated.
In 620, Saint Céneri would have been born there.
In 1205, François d' Assise would have received a vision there.
Capital of a duchy lombard then frankly.
