Splash screen

A splash screen (litt. screen of splash ) is in Computerese the very first window posted by a Logiciel. In general, this window mentions the name, the logo, the version and the state of the loading of the software, before the principal screen does not appear. In this case, it is an informative screen. It can be also used to identify the user by means of a password.
