Spirits of turpentine

The spirits of turpentine is a essential Huile obtained by purification then by Distillation of Térébenthine.

Composition

The spirits of turpentine is a mixture of Molécule S varied, including/understanding terpenic in particular, Acide S and alcohol S. This liquid is insoluble in water, the Pure alcohol and the ether, however it is slightly soluble in an water-alcohol mixture.

It is a product sensitive to the light and the sun, very toxic and highly flammable. The reaction of the spirits of turpentine with nitric Acid is violent, the mixture being Hypergolique (i.e. car-flammable).

Use

Colorless liquid with odor characteristic of pine, the spirits of turpentine is a very good Solvant greases, Huile S and Cire S. One uses it in many products (Peinture S, varnished, Cirage, Insecticide S and even Parfum S or pharmaceutical product like the Onguent S topics). The spirits of turpentine contains 60% d'α- Pinène.

The spirits of turpentine is also advised for the elimination of the Moisissure on the Cuir S (Veste S, Fauteuil S, Chaussure S).
