  • the maxim “a great capacity implies great responsibilities” (“ With great power, comes great responsibility ”), pronounced by the uncle of Peter Parker, can evoke Socrate and other philosophers dealing with the difficult problem of the capacity, such as Montesquieu, Hobbes, Locke or Machiavel. This counterpart makes Spider-Man a very particular film, much more subtle than the majority of films of Super-héros. She was parodied in the film Crazy Kung-Fu , of the realizer hong-kongais Stephen Chow.
  • For the first dream of Peter Parker, i.e. when this last sees a spider seen of the lower part, the chief assembler Bob Murawsky made use of a plan of the attack of the library by the arachniques ones in Beyond the , Italian film carried out by Lucio Fulci in 1981.

  • One can very briefly see Stan Lee as an old man with glasses, saving a little girl at the time of an attack of the Green Buffoon in a festival. He will make an appearance in the two following films Spider-Man , and in Spider-Man 3 , discusses even with Peter in a scene. It became besides a practice of Stan Lee which to make of the small appearances in the recent adaptations of its comics to the cinema.

  • Bruce Campbell, which is a very old friend of Sam Raimi (in particular to have played in the Evil Dead ) in the role of the commentator of the combat of Catch. Campbell will make appearances (speaking) in the two following films Spider-Man .
