This album differs from the precedents because it is an only instrumental work. It was built around the original soundtrack of Dutch film Joyride which the group composed.

According to Mark Jansen, in the booklet of accompaniment, this album is however typically an album of Spiced but " only without the song, without the guitars, the low one and the batterie" !

Three Virgins is the resumption with identical of the version present in Consign to Oblivion but with Simone Simons only at the song. Solitary Ground and Quietus is also two réorchestrées resumptions of the preceding album: while the first is very successful, the second seems wasted by its introduction compared with the original version.
