Sphagnales

The class of the Sphagnopsida includes/understands one order the Sphagnales . This one includes/understands two families: the Sphagnaceae and the Ambuchananiaceae. The Sphagnales , according to molecular phylogenies, are close to the Takakiales, and with them at the base of the Bryophytes.
