Speusippe
Scholarque of the Academy of Plato, Speusippe (407 with 339 av. J. - C.) is Platonic integrist and orthodoxe. He criticizes the Hédonisme and itself is criticized by Aristote.
He took the continuation of Plato as a principal from 347 to 339. Although it was Platonic convinced, it was dominated by its passions and in particular by a love for cruelty. A legend tells that it threw its dog in a puit by pure pleasure. It committed suicide by dislike and lassitude whereas its disease was already advanced.
Xénocrate taken its following the head of the Academy.
