Sperlonga

Sperlonga is a common of the Province of Latina in the area Latium in Italy.

History

Called in the Antiquity Amiclæ , it was a colony of Amyclées of Laconie. According to Virgile, it was imbue doctrines pythagoricians which prescribed silence, which was worth the nickname of to him dumb ( tacit regnavit Amyclis : Virgile, Énéide, X, v. 564).
