Speedcore

The speedcore is the hardest and experimental style of the Techno hardcore. It is characterized by a very extremely BPM and marks a certain return towards the industrial Musique: Bruitisme, nonconformism, experiments, sometimes with the will to make only noise and to shock the listeners, and sometimes on the contrary, in its form Psychédélique extremely worked, to make them enter in fright.

Beginnings

Creative the worship of this style is Liza Eliaz, artist Belgian. It was called “the queen of terror” because it was oldest producing of Hardcore, having been 40 years old in 1998.

The style, originating thus in Belgium and Germany was quickly spread, especially with the E. - U. and in France where Liza Eliaz did not occur almost exclusively for this music, even if the scene speedcore is made up artists coming from the four corners of the sphere.

Various kinds of speedcore

Speedcore old school

Named thus because the first discs of speedcore were mainly composed of the kind, i.e. with old typical instruments of the scene Real Hardcore : Roland TR-909 or other box at rate/rhythm very resembling, synthetizers, audio filters. With that the electric guitar is rather often added, of the voices often coming from films of horrors (cries of terror…). The application of the distortion to the whole of the instruments gives a music sometimes noise, bruitist, from where the fact that some prefer noisecore with speedcore .

Psychedelic Speedcore

To return from there to the concept of experimentation referred to above, certain artists of speedcore do not confine themselves at fast intervals and saturated sounds. One speaks then about speedcore Psychédélique and, or experimental. The pure experimentation does not make it possible to define techniques especially used, but one can say that the speedcore psychedelic very comprises sounds envoutants which can be as dark as luminous, it is also the style of speedcore most industrial, very frequently related to the Power noise. It is not so much question of shocking the listeners but rather of making them travel. The principal representatives of this style left on Liquid the Hangars label for France, made known thanks to the mixs of Liza Eliaz, and the labels like Fischkopf abroad.

Extratone

Speedcore becomes Extratöne when from 3600 Bpm the sound of the kick becomes continuous.

Terror

The Terror style with the Netherlands, named thus because of certain people who test certainly a feeling of terror which is released from the pieces (with the direction gore and thus a little comic), also named by other rarer names Evilcore, Deathcore, and the Noisecore, a style bruitist describes rather like anti-music or simple noise. All these styles are danced very little, and often the fans are limited to move the head, from where the fact that they are often called headbangers .
