Speed of minimal orbiting
The speed of minimal orbiting , in the field of the Astronautics, is the minimal Speed which it would theoretically be necessary to communicate to a body at the beginning of a Astre for the to put into orbit closest to this last on a circular Orbite.
For the Ground, this speed, known as also the first speed cosmic ( first space velocity ), is of approximately 7,9 kilometers a second compared to a geocentric inertial reference mark.
The term corresponding in English is minimum velocity off orbitation.
