Speed limits in Italy
In Italy (official abbreviation: I ), the speed limits in force are the following ones:
- 50 km/h downtown
- 90 km/h except agglomeration
- 110 km/h on fast track (announced by a highway panel to blue bottom)
- On Highway (announced by a highway panel to green bottom):
- 130 km/h per good weather;
- 110 km/h in rainy weather.
Other rules and custom and habits
- Lighting of the obligatory dipped headlights:
- On highway;
- 1/2 hour before laying down it sun;
- up to 1/2 hour after the rising of the sun.
