The speech of Fulton is a speech that the British ex-first minister and Western leader Winston Churchill pronounced in Westminster College of Fulton (Missouri, the United States) the March 5th 1946, about the need for an alliance between Britanniques and Americans and of the urgency of negotiations to prevent the war and the tyranny which a continuation of the Soviet expansionism would generate.

One regards this speech as the first official demonstration, on the combined side, the state of “Cold war” between the East and the West the shortly after the Second world war, the Free world and the Communist bloc are separated by the “Iron curtain”.

Summary

Churchill considers that the United States is with the apogee to be able to them and that it is necessary to seize this opportunity to prevent the war and tyranny.
