The initiator of this almanac was the abbot Joseph of the Door, in addition dramatic author. One annually found there the composition of the Troupe S of the royal Académie of music, of the Comédie-Française, the Commedia dell'Arte, the Op3era Comique, the Foires Saint-Germain and the St. Lawrence and of the Concert of sacred music. For each theater, one gave the parts lately represented, the Débuts of the actors, the anecdotes on the theaters, the authors, the parts and the actors.
