The space of state is the memory of a system. In fact the parameters, of minimum number make it possible to determine its state in a univocal way. Two systems which, at a given moment, have the same space of state, will evolve/move in a similar way for eternity.

In Automatique one uses a Représentation of state to model the dynamic Systèmes.
