Space computer

Computer Space is a Video game of arcade created by Nolan Bushnell, left in 1971 by the company Nutting Associates.

It is inspired by the play developed with the MIT in 1962: Spacewar .

It is considered that it is about the first video game on terminal of arcade never manufactured. But two months front left Galaxy Game a play based on the program space war! (bond on the Wikipedia article in English on Galaxy Range)

The player controls a spaceship and must avoid the shootings of a pair of flying saucers using an engine (to advance) and buttons managers rotation (to turn). The flying saucers could be destroyed while drawing from the missiles.

Although being one of the first plays-vidéos of the history accessible to many people, Computer Space was not success. For much, the Jouabilité and the catch in hand were too difficult.

If he were a relative success in the Campus, that was not the case in the bars and the other places where he was placed.

With the 500$ that this play paid to him, Nolan Bushnell created the company Atari where he invented Pong , which was much more accessible.
