Space Harrier II

Space Harrier II is a Video game of the type Shoot them up developed and marketed by Sega in 1988 on Borne of arcade and Megadrive. The play was adapted in 1990 on the personal computers Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum.

It is about the continuation of Space Harrier (1985).

Development

The original version was carried out under the direction of Kotaro Hayashida. The English studio Teque Software carried out the adaptations on microcomputers. Mike Hart programmed the play on Amiga and Atari ST, Jason Wilson adapted graphics and Matt Furniss composed the musics.

Exploitation

Space Harrier II left on Megadrive the October 29th 1988 to the Japan and the June 14th 1989 with the the United States, is for the launching of the machine. The European version left in 1990. The micro versions were published the same year by Grandslam Entertainment. The play was republished in 2005 on PlayStation 2 in the collection Sega Ages 2500 (Vol.20) and in 2006 in remote loading on the virtual Console of the Wii.
